Plan FAQS

Blog posts
  1. What is the primary purpose of a blog compared to a newsletter?
  • Blog: A blog is a platform for regularly publishing content in a chronological format. It often serves as a space for in-depth articles, commentary, and multimedia content.
  • Newsletter: A newsletter, on the other hand, is typically a periodic email publication sent to subscribers. It’s more focused on delivering updates, curated content, and personalised messages directly to the audience’s inbox.
  1. How do audience interactions differ between a blog and a newsletter?
  • Blog: Interaction on a blog often takes place through your website. Readers can engage in discussions if they wish. Blogs are great for SEO (your organic positioning on Google , for example)
  • Newsletter: Interaction with a newsletter is more private, typically happening through direct replies to the email. It fosters a more personal connection between the author and the subscribers.
  1. How will I receive my blog each month?
  • The blog would be emailed to you each month.
  • The email will include the Blog text in PDF format, and the Blog image (JPEG) attached.
  • The blog can then be added into your website at your convenience.
  1. What are the benefits of having a blog on my website?
  • The blog is great for working in line with your website SEO and enhancing your organic rankings on the Google search engine.

For example: If a person in your catchment area were to Google the term ‘remortgaging’, the Google algorithm will pull information from your remortgaging blog on your website and show this in the person’s search results.  It’s a great tool for enhancing your positioning on Google and attracting customers to your website.

  1. Do I get to choose the blog post topic?

Yes! You can let us know each month what topic you would like in your blog or alternatively we can create a blog from your areas of advice given on your onboarding form.

Newsletter

  1. Will my newsletter be branded?
Yes, this will be colour coordinated to your business style and your logo added.

  1. How will/should I send my newsletter?

You have two options:

  • The Newsletter can be sent directly to you so can choose how and when to send this to your clients. Or,
  • You can give us a list of client email addresses you’d like the Newsletter sent to and we can do this using your email address via a Mailchimp campaign.

We can discuss these options when onboarding.

  1. What are the benefits of sending a newsletter?

Newsletters land directly in subscribers’ inboxes and provide a one-on-one communication channel, allowing content creators or businesses to tailor messages, share exclusive updates, and build a more intimate relationship with their audience.

This direct line of communication can foster a sense of exclusivity and loyalty among subscribers, leading to higher engagement and a stronger connection between the sender and the audience, and therefore help to generate more leads.

  1. Do I get to choose the Newsletter topic?

Yes! You can let us know each month what topic you would like in your monthly Newsletter or alternatively we can create one from your areas of advice given on your onboarding form.

Ad Hoc
  1. What kind of Ad Hoc content can I send?

For example:

  • Is your business or an employee raising money for a charity and you’d like to post about this? Send us in an image and some information/relevant links, we’ll do the rest.
  • You can send us a photo on something exciting you did at the weekend, (adding in personal content hits your target audience differently, generally you get more interactions and helps to create a personal connection between you and your potential / current clients)
  • Why not a photo of your animal? Again, this helps create that personal connection.
  • A photo of your child’s birthday or a family member’s “big” day, creating that personal connection between you and your target audience.
  • Relevant news updates that you want to be ‘on the ball’ in sharing with your target audience.

In short, anything at all that you’d like added to your social media platforms or Google My Business Page.

  1. Will my Ad Hoc content be branded?
Yes, we’ll brand and colour co-ordinate your images.
  1. When will my ad hoc post(s) go live?
We will choose the best time to post this for you alongside your other content, however, if you wish for this to be posted on specific date/time please let us know.
Review posts
  1. Will my review posts be branded?
Yes, we will add your logo and colour co-ordinate your review posts and we’ll approve these with you and Financial Promotions before posting.
  1. When will be review post(s) go live?
We will choose the best time to post this alongside your other content, however if you wish for this to be posted on specific date/time please let us know.
  1. Compliance
You’ll also have to send us the original source where the review was left for you as this needs to be double checked by compliance.

General FAQS

Can I have a mixture of wealth posts, and mortgages and protection posts in my monthly subscription?

Yes, when completing Onboarding, please inform us of what services your business offers and what weighting of posts your package should include.

Is it possible to have posts for special licences such as Equity Release and Long Term Care?

Yes, when completing Onboarding, please inform us of what services your business offers and what weighting of posts your package should include.

What about annual calendar events like Christmas and Hallowe’en, does my package include these?

These types of posts can be added as an optional extra Ad Hoc ‘Bolt-on’ to your monthly plan.

Do I still need to submit my social media accounts to my compliance department for annual checking?
  • Yes, you will still need to submit your social media platform account itself to compliance for checking. However, the posts themselves have already been vetted – we’ve got your back!
  • You are entitled to re-post the posts we provide, however, it is your responsibility to make sure these remain within the approval period as indicated by your compliance department.
What happens after I sign up?
  • After signing up, you’ll soon receive a Welcome email followed closely by a Design email to start your Onboarding journey.
  • The Onboarding button in the Design email will take you to a digital form where you can set your preferences for your plan.
  • This will soon be followed by a Permissions email which will allow us to schedule the content on your account(s).
  • You’ll then receive an onboarding call from a member of our design team who will help create your personalised branded template and help you fine-tune your plan.

To help us get to work more quickly, we ask that Onboarding is completed within 48 working hours following sign-up, then we’ll get straight to work!

When will I start receiving posts?

We guarantee to have your first post scheduled by your first ‘monthiversary’ after making the initial payment, as long as you have completed onboarding with us within 48 working hours.

Can I view my social media posts before they are published?

Yes! In fact, we’ll submit these to compliance on your behalf and copy you into the mail so that you can see your posts for the coming month.

If there are any corrections required, we ask your compliance department to liaise with us directly – we know you’re busy!

If you have no objections, we’ll schedule your posts once they’re all approved.

Can I customise my plan?

Why, yes! Your customer journey through the plan selection will help to get you most of the way, and letting us know your preferences at Onboarding should help to fine-tune things nicely. However, if there’s a particular business need you want to include, please get in touch through our contact form and we’ll get straight back to you.
